ABOUT ME

In the Australian audio engineering community I wish to immerse myself as much as I can in the industry to further my knowledge of being an audio engineer. Not only do I look forward to gaining experiences in this industry but the prospect of meeting creative, like-minded individuals is a bonus in this profession.

Whilst attending JMC Academy to attain my Bachelors in Creative Technology (Audio Engineering and Sound Production) I've been fortunate enough to learn the process in recording/ producing bands.
These experiences have helped me to shape the future of my own career and to understand the amount of work needed in the industry. With this attitude I hope to continuously push myself to become an asset throughout the audio engineering community.
My hope is to one day in the future, help to contribute to the growth of Australia's audio engineering industry.

SHOW REEL
Sound to Film
For this sound to film project it involved foley design and high level editing to a scene within the film "The Conversation"

This project was run and edited on the program Pro Tools, where I also recorded each piece of sound present within this video.
Snorkadelia EP Recording
For this EP recording, it involved 2 recording sessions at the JMC Studios, Ultimo with an SSL console.

On the first day of recording this psychedelic trio we set the band up within the recording space with a live setting (all of them together in the same room at once).
To manage spill and obtain that group performance that was so essential to the band, we used baffles and careful placement so that the band could perform to their best and optimal ability, which made it easier for all those involved.

The second day of recording involved overdubbing of the vocals, where we built a make shift vocal booth. Afterwards, we edited the track as a group and mixed and mastered the session accordingly.

Acoustic Singer-Songwriter Recording
For this recording it involved a three mic setup for our artist and this recording was completed at JMC Studios, Ultimo with a Toft ATB 24 console.
This recording, was recorded straight to pro tools, and only involved one session. It involved recording Sean playing just his acoustic guitar firstly and then we recorded his vocal, through a makeshift overdubbing vocal booth.
